Ethel May Drew Meadows age 61 of Connersville passed away Friday November 4, 2011 at her residence.
She was born November 9, 1949 in Connersville the daughter of the late John D. and Louella M. Hamilton Drew.
She has been a lifelong Connersville resident. Ethel had worked for several years at Ford Electronics and Refrigeration as well as working as a bartender in the area until her health no longer permitted her to work. She enjoyed being with her friends and her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters Lisa Wickersham, Connersville and Jana Lee Higgs, Connersville; 4 sisters and their spouses, Mary & Rick Durham, Connersville; Jenny & Lloyd Griffin, Oldenburg; Carol & Erich Hultberg, Minnesota; and Bonnie Collins & Marty, Minnesota; 4 brothers, Bob & Hazel Drew, Connersville; John & Jean Drew, Connersville; Jerry Drew, Connersville; and Jimmy & Diane Drew, Connersville; 6 grandchildren Shanta & Billy Bowman, Kellis Allen Jr. & Megan Hanna, Dakota Wickersham, Blake Edwards, Cody Delph, and Michael Givens III; as well as 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husbands Marion Boughner and Andrew Meadows and two sisters Sharon Bauer and Phyllis Meeks.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Urban-Winkler Funeral Home with Rev. David Pinter and Rev. Wayne Griffee officiating. Burial will be in the Dale Cemetery.
