Edna Margurite Bilyeu, 96, died Monday, November 3, 2014.She was born October 17, 1918 in Port Huron to the late Charles and Laura Krafft. She married Howard L. Bilyeu on April 20, 1945 in Detroit.

Edna enjoyed walking when she could, reading, baking and cooking. Her grandkids always loved Grandma's cookies every Christmas. She loved to laugh and had a good sense of humor. We are sure going to miss her dearly. Mom has always been there and now she's with her loving Lord and Savior.

She is survived by three children, Joan Wolvin, Kenneth (Lynn) Bilyeu and Judith Wolvin; a daughter-in-law, Janet Bilyeu; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; a sister, Phyllis (Robert) Carrier; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Bilyeu.

Edna suffered from a long battle with dementia but was always strong willed, smiling, happy and content. She had wonderful caregivers who loved her dearly including a caring nurse and Dr. Nashed. The family is grateful for all their help and care.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2014 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at noon. The Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate.Burial will be in Christian Memorial Cultural Center, Peck.
