Mrs. Lena Brunhoefer, 85, a resident of the Shopiere vicinity for more than half a century, died Sunday evening at her home.
Lena Zimmerman was born March 7, 1864, in Silberberg, Germany, and came to this country about 60 years ago. She was married to William Brunhoefer at Reedsburg, Wis., in 1885, and the couple farmed in the Shopiere vicinity until 1900, when they retired.
Surviving her are three daughters, Mrs. Minnie Haseman, Shopiere; Mrs. Elsie Bundy, Beloit, and Miss Emma Brunhoefer, also of Beloit; two sons, Charles, of Chicago, and William, of Janesville; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Brunhoefer died in June of 1926, and a daughter in 1916.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at the Rosman-Uehling-Kinzer chapel, Beloit, with burial in Shopiere.
