Mary L Lowry Pickens was born October 30, 1845 in Tippah County, Mississippi to Isaiah R Lowry and Sarah Unknown. Sometime after Sarah's death between 1870 and the 1880 census Isaiah and his children moved to Calvert Township, Grant County, Arkansas. Isaiah died sometime after June 20, 1880 as he was in that census. It is unknown where he is buried in Grant County. Mary remained unmarried after her mothers death to take care of her family until her fathers death. She married William Pickins Clement April 5, 1891 in Pulaski County, Arkansas. Mary Lowry Clement died June 19, 1910. There was no issue.
