Last Rites Held
For A.J. Miller
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Calvary Baptist church for A.J. Miller, 72, who died Monday in the Minden sanitarium.
The Rev. L.L. Clover, pastor of the Calvary Baptist church, officiated. Burial followed in the Pine Grove cemetery.
Mr. Miller, a retired farmer and longtime resident of Minden is survived by four sons, L.M. Miller, J.C. Miller and J.H. Miller, all of Minden, and V.K. Miller of Springhill one daughter, Mrs. Minnie Gamble of Minden.
Two brothers, Milam Miller of Minden and Jesse Miller of Shongaloo two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Kirkley, and Mrs. Heddy Grant, both of Minden; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Death
Mr. A.J. Miller, at 72, died Monday after a long illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Calvary Baptist Church with I.L. Clover officiating. Burial was at the Pine Grove cemetery. He was a brother of Mrs. J.G. Kirkley of this community.
