Charlotte Wilson Nims was born on November 9, 1810 in Sullivan, Cheshire County, New Hampshire. Her parents were Roswell Nims and Sally Wilson. She married Daniel Emery Pratt (son of John Pratt and Mary March of Walpole, NH) on September 7, 1835 in Keene, Cheshire County, NH. Shortly after that, they moved to Boston, MA where Daniel was a stabler. They lived at 9 Hawkins Street and then 13 Allston Street and were members of the Mount Vernon Congregational Church. Their children were Sarah Wilson (Mrs. Rufus Frost), Ellen Augusta (Mrs. John Anderson), and Charlotte Elizabeth (Mrs. Charles Octavius Simpson). Charlotte died on August 14, 1860 in Boston.
