Florence Cafora Lyons, age 76, of Shelton, a retired chef for Sterling Home in Bridgeport, died on Tuesday, February 18, 2003, at St. Vincent‚s Medical Center, Bridgeport. Born in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Maria Stecia Cafora, and was the widow of James Lyons. She was a beloved mother and grandmother. Survivors include her devoted daughters, Ann Larsen and her husband, Jim, Cheryl Csizmar and her husband, Jim, all of Shelton; five grandchildren, Roger Trapasso and his wife, Daina, Mary Florczak and her husband, Ed, and Pamela, Stephanie and Jonathan Csizmar; a great-grandson, Nicholas Trapasso; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Thomas P. Cafora, Michael Cafora Sr. and Fred Cafora; and two sisters, Frances Pomroy and Rose Forte.
