Born on March 5, 1947, in Gilmer, Texas, to Edward Ellis Peel and Vivian 'Bill' Inez Ray Peel, he died on Thursday, November 6, 2014. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired from the oil field. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by one son, Cameron Peel and wife, Keeley of Hallsville; daughter, Debbie Barber and husband, Jason of Gilmer; wife, Cynthia Gail Stanley and her children; four grandchildren, Rachel Barber, Carson Barber, Campbell Peel, and Kason Peel; four brothers, Jimmy Peel, Terrel Peel, Ronnie Peel, and Randy and wife Pat Peel; two sisters, JoAnn and husband D. Love and Loree Van Zandt.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Edward Ray Peel.
