He is survived by two sisters.
His grandfather, George W. Brown, was appointed Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan by King George V.
George graduated from Little Rock High School and Vanderbilt University where he was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He served in the U.S. Army with the 101st Airborne in Texas and for many years farmed on his family’s plantation in Scott. George will be remembered for his love of “Mercedes cars” and “wheeling and dealing.”
Graveside services on November 11, 2014 at 10:30 am at Mt. Holly Cemetery, Little Rock, Arkansas.
