Ben was the son of Edwin Elmer and Mary Jane (Robb) Lee. He married Theresa Lucy MacKenzie on April 25, 1942, in Seattle, King County, Washington. The young couple lived in Seattle. Ben died in an automobile accident just days after his 28th birthday and days before his first wedding anniversary.
