Blossom R. Richardson, age 91, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 4, 2014. Blossom is survived by her two sons, Keith of South China, ME and Dana of Bolivia, NC, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Blossom was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Ronald "Red" Richardson. Blossom was a devoted wife and mother, serving as a military wife during her husband's 30 years in the United States Navy. It was during their overseas assignments that she developed an interest in Ikibana, Japanese flower arranging and an appreciation of the Asian culture. Blossom will join Red at the Arlington National Cemetery Columbarium at a later date.
