"The amiable qualifications she possessed and the sorrow that her departure has caused, language is not sufficiently strong to delineate. Society is robbed of one of its finest ornaments. A husband of a loving and affectionate companion and parents of a favourite child on whom they but too much doated. Nature bestowed on her a strong mind which was by education fully cultivated. In the different relations of life, few excelled her as a daughter fond, dutiful and affectionate, as a friend she was sincere and as a woman, mild, amiable, and lovely."
