Owen Mason, 86, of Neponset, Il. and formerly of Buda died Friday October 24, 2014 at Kewanee Care Home. Owen was born March 4, 1928 the son of Clarence and Mabel (Comp) Mason. He married Anna Mae Miller on November 6, 1948. She survives along with one son Ron Mason and one daughter Fran Peterson both of Princeton, Il., seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one nephew.
Owen was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Beverly Bromme and his son Allan.
Cremation was accorded. There will be no public services. Private family inurnment will be in the Hopeland Cemetery, rural Buda, Il. The Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home, Kewanee, Il. is in charge of arrangements.
