Mildred was born in Hulbert, Oklahoma on July 2, 1940 to Arvle Lee and Ruby Mae (Adams) Baker. She attended public school in Hulbert, later attending Tulsa Central High School. She was God’s-Homemaker and excelled at her callings as a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mildred enjoyed cooking, gardening and teaching Bible School. She was a 60 year member of Home Gardens Church of Christ.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Ruby and Arvle Baker; infant sister, Merrie Baker; 2 favorite cousins: Junior Baker and Billy Hammons.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service of Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
Funeral services for Mildred will be Saturday, November 8, 2014, 10:00am, in the Home Gardens Church of Christ, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Visitation for Mildred will be Friday, November 7, 2014, from 12:00pm until 8:00pm. Interment will follow at Woodland Memorial Park, Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
