The obit states that she was 83 years old at the time of her death which would put her birthdate at 1819. However, the gravestone states that her birth year was 1827.

The following was sent to me by FAG contributor Lydia Anthony re: Aaron's wife. It was published in the Simi Weekly Times, Troy, NY, Feb. 22, 1910:

"Word was received in this city yesterday of the death at Orange, Cal., of Mrs. Lydia B. Anthony, formerly of Troy. Mrs. Anthony was the wife of the late Aaron C. Anthony, and is survived by a son, J. Erwin Anthony, Secretary and Treasurer of the Troy Savings Bank, and a daughter Mrs. C. W. Hollister, at whose home in Orange, Cal., Mrs. Anthony died. The deceased was a native of this city and lived here until about five years ago. She was eighty-three years of age. Mrs. Anthony was a valued member of the Fifth Avenue Methodist Church of this city and was well known to many residents of Troy."
