Martha "Nany" Shriner of Juno, Florida passed away peacefully on November 3rd at the age of 101.

She was born in the City of Athol in Spink County, South Dakota on August 26, 1913, the youngest of five children of Charles & Emma Capes.

Martha moved with her family at an early age to Indiana where she later met O. F. "Bud" Shriner. They were married on February 22, 1941, together raised three children and then moved to Florida in 1986. Bud preceded her in death on February 4, 1991.

She was an avid gardener, loved golf, had a mean "poker face" (rarely losing a game) and was always up for adventure - parasailing on her 95th birthday and celebrating her 100th on the back of a Harley Davidson. Martha was a founding member of St. Matthews Catholic Church.

Survivors include a son, Michael (Annette) Shriner of Indianapolis, Indiana; daughters, Pamela (Michael) Parsons of Juno, Florida and Patricia (Gary) Long of Brownsburg, Indiana; eight grandchildren, Mike, Mindi, Tom, Trish, Andrew, Angela, Kimberly and Timothy; eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
