Hurley Funeral Home, Havana, is in charge of arrangements. Florence Young Mrs. Florence (Ormsby) Young, 78, of Springfield died at 3:35 a.m.
Thursday at St. John's Hospital. (Note: Thursday was the 10th.)
Born Feb. 6, 1907, in Springfield, Mrs. Young was the daughter of William and Agnes Dyer Ormsby. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Young.
She was a retired school teacher, having taught at Harvard Park School. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Alles Chambers of Springfield; one niece and one nephew.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ellinger-Kunz and Davis Funeral Home, with Dr. Donald F. Clingan officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
