A. J. Gearhart, 77. of Peterstown, Monroe county, and father of Mrs. E. T. McPeak, 2802 Horry street, this cllv. died at 0:10 Sunday evening In a hospital atMarion, Va. He had been in falling health for sometime, A The body .was brought to Bluefleld yesterday and taken to the home of his daughter in this city. The fun, oral, partv will leave Bluefleld at 12:30 noon today for Peterstown Where services will be held conduct^ ed by the Rev; Len'Candler, assisted bv the Rev. Mr. Wrlghten. Burial ; will follow In the Peterstown cemetery. Mr.' Gearheart was a native of Monroe county. He is survived by his wife, who . has been making her home with Mrs. McPeak, and,the following children: Mrs- McPeak. Mrs. A. L. Dunn, of • Peterstown: Mrs, C. G, Gahnoe, of RjChvOreek: Mrs. S. H.
