DAVENPORT, Wash., Jan. 28.—Funeral services will be held tomorrow for Walter Preston Alexander, 69, who died Monday after an illness of several years. He was born in North Carolina and came west as a young man, settling in Hawk Creek north of Davenport. He married a neighbor girl, Cora Johnson.
Mr. Alexander is survived by a son, Marvin, Fairbanks, Alaska, and a daughter, Mrs. Faye Knisley, Seattle.
The funeral will be tomorrow at the Zion Lutheran Church at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
