Dorothy Louise (Bruce) Alexander, 94, Attica, passed away at the Williamsport Health & Rehabilitation Center, on Friday, October 31, 2014, at 7:00 a.m.

Dorothy was born in Shawnee Township of Fountain County, Indiana, on August 26, 1920, the daughter of the late Lewis Clark and Mary Elizabeth (Hickman) Bruce and a step daughter of the late Audrey Lou Eubanks Bruce. On October 23, 1937, Dorothy married Raymond D. Alexander in Lafayette. He preceded her in death on May 28, 1996. Dorothy was also preceded in death by two sons, Charles Robert Alexander and Harold Ray Alexander; two brothers, Lewis Bruce, Jr. and Homer Bruce and three sisters, Katherine Watkins, Ruth Anna Jean Bruce and Evelyn Bernice Bruce.

Dorothy leaves behind a son, Melvin L. Alexander; a daughter, Carolyn (the late, Davey) Puckett; a step sister, Judy (Bill) House; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

Dorothy worked at the Radio Material Corp. in Attica for several years, retiring in 1982.
