ALLMAN, Evelyn Ray was born on February 3, 1919, in Lancaster, Kentucky to the late Harrison and Maggie Ray. She peacefully returned to her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 24, 2014 at Maria Joseph Living Care Center, Dayton, Ohio. Evelyn moved to Dayton and joined Mt. Enon Baptist Church. She worked many years as a private family domestic.

Her brothers: John, William, Burnam and Nobel Ray, and sisters: Rebecca Stewart, Lou Anderson, Mae Ingram, Hazel Beasley, Vernita Lee, and Helena Love all preceded her in death. Evelyn is also preceded in death by Bob's brothers: Moses, Willie, Ernest, Mathis, Arthur, Loy and Eugene Allman, and his sisters: Ritchie Thompson, Anna Hillman, Lucile Truelove, Grace Cook, and Wilma Carter. Evelyn is survived by her loving and devoted daughter and son-in-law, Janet and David White; her only grandchild, Matthew Allman White; brother-in-law, Booker Love of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters-in-law, Wilma Louise Allman of Dayton, Ohio and Annie Ruth Allman of Sulligent, Alabama; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
