LAUREL - Funeral services for Elmer Verdia Williams, 73, of Columbus, will be at Cashmore Memorial Chapel in Laurel 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Daniel Brander of Assembly of God Church of Columbus officiating. Burial will be at Custer National Battlefield 1:30 p.m. Monday.

Mr. William[s] died Nov. 10 at Stillwater Community Hospital in Columbus.

He was born July 19, 1896[sic], at Salida, Colo., a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Williams. He served in the U.S. Army in World War I.

Survivors include a brother, Harold Williams, of Huron, S. D., and two sisters, Mrs. John Manion of Madras, Ore., and Mrs. Fred Rasmussen of Provo, Utah.
