Patsy M.J. Perkins, 73, wife of A. B. Perkins, of Onalaska, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 28. A celebration of Patsy's life will be held on Monday, November 3 from 4 pm until 6 pm at Coulee Region Cremation Group, located at 133 Mason St. in Onalaska.

ONALASKA, Wis. - Patsy Minnie Josephine Vest Perkins, 73, Onalaska, passed away peacefully on Oct. 28, 2014, in her home.
Patsy was born June 12, 1941, in Alton, Missouri, to Archie Vest and Irene Vest. Later moving to Illinois, Patsy grew up in Abingdon, graduating with the class of 1959. Moving to Galesburg, she married William "Bill" White in 1962. They had three sons. She lived in Galesburg for several years before moving to Wisconsin. She remarried in 1988 to A.B. Perkins. Patsy loved her family and friends and enjoyed being around them as much as possible. She also enjoyed family keepsakes and family genealogy.
Patsy is survived by her husband, A.B. Perkins; two sons, Tom White of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Tim White of Galesburg; her mother, Irene Wells of Galesburg; four brothers, John (Marietta) Farris of Blandinsville, Jim (Sharon Cameron) Curtis of Galesburg, Richard (Debbie) Vest of Granite City, Missouri, and Billy (Dee) Vest of Gainsville, Missouri; a sister, Mayetta "Jo" (Gary) Reed of Collinsville; two daughters, Lynda (Ralph) Cottone of Holman, Wisconsin and Lori (Paul) Twite of West Salem, Wisconsin; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Patsy was preceded in death by her son, William Donald White; her father, Archie Vest; her brother, Larry Vest; her sister, Archie Lee Vest; her stepfather, John Wells; and her maternal grandparents, William and Minnie West.
Visitation and service will be held at First Christian Church in Galesburg, 301 N. Broad St., on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014, from 10 a.m. to noon, with lunch following. The burial site is at Memorial Park Cemetery in Galesburg.
