She was born August 3, 1912 in Greentown, the daughter of Glenn and Carrie (Blankenbaker) Bookout.
Lola was an active member of Center Chapel United Methodist Church for over 60 years.
Survivors include two grandchildren, Richard L. Green (wife, Bonnie) of Waynesville, OH and James A. Green of Reno, NV; four step-grandchildren, Joyce Ann Hiatt of Muncie, Pam, Susie, Tim Spurlock – all of Utah; three great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren and special niece Marilyn Taylor of Muncie.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, General L. "Bud" Green in 1976; one son, Richard D. Green in 1983 and two step-children, Kenneth Green and Virginia (Green) Spurlock and one step-grandson, David Spurlock.
