Alice was the daughter of William and Odelia (Miller) Hermeling. She married Leo Fehring on January 7, 1941, in Wilmont, MN. Alice provided daycare in her home for 373 kids, she was a volunteer in the Shakopee Public Schools, and did quilting for the mission at the Church of St. Mark.
Preceded by husband, Leo; son, Thomas; parents, William and Odelia; brothers, Jerome and Joe Hermeling; sisters, Lola Voss and Fidelis Hoffman.
Mass of Christian burial held on November 1, 2014 at the Parish of Saints Joachim and Anne Church of St. Mark, 350 South Atwood Street, Shakopee. Presider will be the Reverend Erik Lundgren.
