Charles Ray Leonard, 65 year old resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died October 28, 2014 at Earlene Howard Hospice Home in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born May 15, 1949 in Carnegie, Oklahoma to Marion Raymond Leonard and Inez Sanders Leonard. Charles married Barbara Banta on July 15, 1972 in Idabel, Oklahoma. He worked as payroll project leader timelink for Simmons Foods for many years. Charles was a member of First United Methodist Church in Siloam Springs.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marion Leonard; his beloved stepfather, Carl McDaniel; his sister, Lawanda Leonard; and his stepbrother, Milton McDaniel.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Leonard; two sons, Aaron Leonard of Siloam Springs, and Carl Leonard and wife Charissa of Siloam Springs; one granddaughter, Ariel Leonard of Siloam Springs; mother, Inez Leonard McDaniel of Siloam Springs; stepsister, Carleene Flowers and husband Tony of Orlando, Florida; sister-in-law, Carolyn McDaniel of College Station, Texas; brother-in-law, Ira Banta III and wife Linda of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 1, 2014 at First United Methodist Church, Siloam Springs, with Dr. Randy Rowlan officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 31, 2014 at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.
