The graveside funeral for Lena L. Purcell was held Thursday at the Humbolt Township Cemetery with the Rev. Matt McGregor officiating. The Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. The pallbearers were Robert Nall, Jerry Shaw, Joseph Woodard, Jeff Purcell, David Purcell, and Rex Purcell. Mrs. Purcell, 88, of Mattoon, died Nov. 28, 1999 at Mattoon Health Care Center.
