A double memorial service for Lamont and Brenda, 72 and 51, respectively, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Church of the Nazarene in Princeton, with Pastors Larry Veith and Kathy Kramer officiating. A covered-dish luncheon will be served following the service. Lamont and Brenda died Friday, October 24,2014, at Gritman Medical Center in Moscow, from injuries received in a vehicle accident near Princeton.

Lamont was born Aug. 29, 1942, at Eugene, Or. to Ernest and Berbena(Brooks) Bartlett. He attended school at Potlatch. He married Jolene Rasmussen on Aug. 20, 1965, in Princeton. The couple later divorced. Lamont married Brenda Cochrane on Dec. 31, 1988, in Potlatch, and the couple made their home at Potlatch. Lamont was a logger all his life and worked for several companies. He worked for Hansen Logging, Bennett Lumber, Mark Darby logging, and for the past 10 years worked as an Independent logger called L and B Logging.

Lamont was a member of the Idaho Loggers Association and the National Rifle Association.

Brenda M. Bartlett, 51, was born July 19, 1963, at Dallas, Ore., to Duane H. and Mathilda "Tillie"(Jacobson) Cochrane. She attended school at Potlatch and graduated from Potlatch High School in 1981. She married Lamont Bartlett on Dec. 31, 1988, in Potlatch. The couple had no children.

Brenda was employed at Washington State University at French Administration in payroll. She was recently promoted to payroll Manager and worked for WSU for 29 years.

Brenda was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Potlatch. Brenda is survived by her mother, Mathilda Cochrane of Potlatch; and one brother, Kevin Cochrane(Sandy) of Potlatch.

Lamont is survived by one son, Chad Bartlett of Potlatch; two daughters, Tami Koster(Scott) of Tualatin, Ore., and Pamela Colvin(Curtis) of Everett, Wash,; one brother, Leslie Bartlett of Priest River, Idaho; and five grandchildren, Michael Koster, Amber and Ryan Colvin, Joshua Carpenter and Tristen Amundsen. Lamont is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
