Betty F. (Snyder) Kimmey, 91, of Camp Hill, passed away peacefully on Firday, October 24, 2014 in Manor Care Center of Carlisle. Born September 2, 1923 in McConnellsburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Cora Snyder. Betty was the widow of Glenn M. Kimmey, Sr.
She was a retired employee of Appleton Paper and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are her five children, Dave Thomas and wife, Pat Ream, of Palmyra, Robert “Bobby” and wife, Sally Kimmey, of Landisburg, Glenda Herring and Brion Bunce, of York Haven, Anita and husband, Jason Decker, of Lewisberry and Glenn M. and wife, Crystal Kimmey, III, of Camp Hill, 16 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert “Big Bob” Thomas.
Services will be held on Wednesday, October 29 at 11:00am in the Neumyer Funeral Home, Inc., 1334 N. 2nd Street, Harrisburg, Pa. Viewing will be from 10am to 11 am, Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
