Mrs. Kuykendall, past resident, succumbs at 66
Mrs. Margaret B. Kuykendall, 66, Marion, Ky.; died yesterday morning in the Crittenden County Hospital in Marion after an extended illness.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Wheelan Funeral Home, Rock Island, with the Rev. Raymond Krutz, pastor of the Memorial Heights Methodist Church, Rock Island, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island.
Visitation will be at the funeral home tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m.
Mrs. Kuykendall, the former Margaret Hall, was born Sept. 27, 1907 in Monmouth, the daughter of John and Bird Bell. She was raised and received her education in Monmouth and was married to John W. Kuydendall Feb. 6, 1940, in Moline.
She lived in the Rock Island area from 1938 to 1957 and had been employed at the Montgomery Ward Store, Rock Island.
The couple had resided in Marion the past nine months after moving from Murphysboro, Ill.
Survivors include the widower; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Parry, of Tampa, Fla., and Mrs. Mary Greenstreet, of Clearwater, Fla.
She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
