FALLING WATERS, W.Va. - Norma Iris Busey, 70, of Falling Waters, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 1997, at City Hospital, Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born Sept. 9, 1927, in Waco, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Hathaway and Essie Huddleston Goodloe.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Busey Sr., in 1993.
She was a graduate of Moore High School, Waco. She attended Prairie View University, Shepherd College and Shenandoah University.
She retired from the Veterans Affairs Medical Center after 22 years as a nursing assistant.
She was a member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church.
She was a past member of Daughters of the Elks and Eastern Star Bethel Chapter 26.
She is survived by one daughter, Angela Busey, at home; two brothers, E.L. Goodloe of Houston and Wilmer Goodloe of Saginaw, Mich.; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Clovis Henry and Juanita Goodloe; and two brothers, Talmage Goodloe and John E. Goodloe.
Burial and services will be private at the convenience of the family.
There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are by Rosedale Funeral Chapel, Martinsburg.
