ANNABELLE (ANDERSON) SANDIFER
(April 7, 1931-March 28, 2008)

On March 28, 2008, Annabelle Anderson Sandifer went to be with her Lord, and was reunited with her baby daughter, Anne Noelle, and her parents, LeRennie “Lee” Edwin Anderson, Sr. (1904-1935) and Geraldine (Abney) Anderson (1906-1994). Annabelle was born on April 7, 1931, in Jacksonville, Duval County, FL. She had been a resident patient at Southpoint Terrace, Jacksonville, Duval County, FL, before her graduation to heaven.

A graduate of Landon High School, Jacksonville, FL, Class of 1949, and of Columbia Bible College (Columbia International University) Columbia, SC, Class of 1953, she taught at Ben Lippen School in Asheville, NC. In 1954 she married her beloved Clarence Earl Sandifer in Jacksonville, FL at Glendale Community Church, where Earl served as youth director. While at Glendale Community Church, Annabelle sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, and assisted Earl. Together, they had five children. They shared a passion for demonstrating God's love to those around them. She and Earl ministered in France for 25 years, where together they started the Evangelical Free Church of DeuillaBarre. She was the cofounder of the Christian Women's Club of Paris, France. Beginning with her family, she touched many lives with her ardent love, profound wisdom and disciplined mind. Clarence Earl Sandifer, her husband of 54 years, her children, Stephen Sandifer, Katherine Sandifer, LeeAnne (Sandifer) Huling and her husband, Perry Mitchell “Mitch” Huling, and David John Sandifer, her brother, LeRennie “Lee” Edwin Anderson, Jr., her nieces and nephews, and her seven grandchildren, who survived her will miss her deeply. She was an active member of Calvary Anglican Church on San Pablo Road, Jacksonville, FL. The viewing was held between 5-8 PM, April 2, 2008, NAUGLE FUNERAL HOME, 1203 Hendricks Ave. The Celebration of Life Service was held at Christian Family Chapel, 10365 Old Saint Augustine Road at 10:00 am on April 3, 2008.

Her Celebration of Life Service had been “planned” in advance by Annabelle, herself. Her talented family and many friends and loved ones participated in giving tribute to this amazing servant of the Lord Jesus Christ.
