She became the beloved bride of Chuck Elswick on June 19, 1998. She and Chuck enjoyed traveling the country and finding adventure in the everyday. She was a member of the 4th Jackson Street Church of Christ and worked for 16 years at City Medical until her recent cancer diagnosis. Margie was a well-known member of the community and friend to many. She was an avid reader, an expert at drawing people out of their shells, and a devoted mother and grandmother.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Edd & Lela Brownfield; her sister, Hazel Moore; and her brothers, Harrall Kelly and Wallace Brownfield.
A celebration of her life for Margie Ava Elswick will take place on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the 4th & Jackson Street Church of Christ with Jamey Boone and Steve Harbison officiating.

Margie's first husband was Garland "Don" Killian, with whom she had two daughters, Christi and Carla. Her second husband waxs Larry Boone, with whom she had two sons, Michael and Jamey. She is survived by her husband, children, and 7 grandchildren, whom she utterly adored.
