MARTHA LAGERWEY, 81, of Colorado Springs died at a local nursing home. She had been a homemaker. Visitation was held at Swan-Law Eastside Sunset Chapel Mortuary, 3825 Airport Road. The funeral also at the funeral home with Thurman Taylor and Elmer Shacklette officiating. Burial was at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Lagerwey was born July 5, 1909, in Paterson, N.J., to Cornelius and Eva (Weisman) Bogert. She lived in Colorado Springs for 46 years. Mrs. Lagerwey was married July 20, 1943, in Paterson, to Albertus Lagerwey, who died in 1986. She is survived by a son, David of Colorado Springs; a sister, Grace Simerock of New Jersey, and four grandchildren.
