Services for Pinkie M. Walker, 88, of Zavalla, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Zavalla, with the Rev. Mike Hancock officiating. Interment will follow in the Zavalla Cemetery.
Mrs. Walker was born August 29, 1903 in Concord and died Monday in Lufkin. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Zavalla. Mrs. Walker lived in Zavalla all her life.
Survivors: daughter & son-in-law, Elsie Mae and Alvis Barge, Sr.; daughter, Oma Helen Pitman; grandson & granddaughter-in-law, Alvis Jr. and Judy Barge; grandson, Ricky Pitman; granddaughter & grandson-in-law, Rebekah and Greg Shives; great-grandsons, Jeff Barge and Ricky Lea Pitman; great-granddaughters, Heather Barge, Rachel Pitman and Allison Shives.
