Mrs. Joseph J. Madosh, of Lake Mary, died early Tuesday morning.
Mrs. Madosh, whose maiden name was Nettie Bartlett, was born in Galesville, Wisconsin on March 6, 1864. When eighteen years of age she moved with her parents to Lake Preston, S.D., where, a year later, she was married to Harrison Ross. To this union four daughters were born. In 1892 Mr. Ross died and in 1894 Mrs. Ross was married to Joseph J. Madosh. Two daughters were born to Mr. and Mrs. Madosh. Mr. and Mrs. Madosh moved to Lake Mary in 1901, which has since been the family home.
Mrs. Madosh was ever ready with a pleasant smile and a helping hand and will be greatly missed by those who knew her. She was a faithful member of the Forada Presbyterian church. Her husband and six daughters survive her. The daughters are: Mrs. W. H. Barros, Pancras, Alberta, Canada; Mrs. Bernice Whiting, Pine City, Minn.; Mrs. Andrew Navratil, La Grand; Mrs. Virgil Johnson, Alexandria; and Margaret and Irene at home. Mrs. Madosh leaves nine brothers, two of whom, Ally and Ed Bartlett, reside in Hudson. All of the daughters and one brother, Charles, of Willow Lake, S.d., were present at the funeral, which was held at the home this afternoon. The Rev. W. H. Owen, of Forada, conducted the services. The interment was in the Lake Mary cemetery.
