James Thomas Allison, 94, moved beyond this life on Oct. 22, 2014. He was born Feb. 2, 1920, in Troy, MO to Oscar & Sarah Allison. James was a previous owner of Capitol Hill Monument. He proudly served his country in the Special Services of the US Army Air Corp during World War II. James loved all sports, especially tennis, basketball, wrestling & track. Preceded in death by his wife, Betty; brother, Audle & sister-in-law, Pauline. He is deeply loved & missed by his son, Wayne & wife, Janet, daughter, Deborah & husband, Larry; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. Vondel Smith Mortuary South
