Picher, Okla., July 3, Ora C. Wright, 64 years old, 615 S. River St. was pronounced dead on arrival at 6 o'clock last night at Picher hospital. Mr. Wright apparently suffered a heart attack this afternoon while mowing the lawn at his home. He was a retired minor and a resident of Picher since 1924. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Pearl Wright; two sons, Walter Wright of Lawton Okla., and Riley Wright of California; a step-son Marion Lamb of Pa.; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Brown of Broken Arrow, Okla., Mrs. Dorothy Morgan of Pueblo, Colo., and Mrs. Leslie French of Oxnard Calif.; a half-brother, Hugh Cook of Fort Gibson, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Katherine Bryant of Joplin., Mrs. Beulah Soundres of Greenfield, and Mrs. Irene Mayberry of near Carthage and several grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Hunter funeral home.

Ora was born Mar 29, 1894 to Martin "Mart" Wright and Margaret "Maggie" Coldwell in Washington Co., Arkansas.
They moved to Oklahoma shortly after his birth, as his sister Allie Mae was born Jan 28, 1895 in Nash, Muskogee, OK, just a little over a year later.
His parents divorced shortly after the birth of
Allie.
Census records show Ora was raised by his Father Martin Wright and his Step-Mother Emma Harriet Loomis, his Sister Allie was raised by their Mother Maggie Coldwell.
His Father and Emma had 6 other children, 4 Daughters and 2 Sons:
