I am basing his birth place on the fact that his father purchased land in New Jersey in 1760 (Early Germans of New Jersey).

aged 73.2.12

ATTENTION - If your doing genealogy of the Howell's of Morris County and Hunterdon County, New Jersey. This Howell line is descendent from Richard Howell of Southold, Long Island. DNA tests confirm that this line is descendent from Richard Howell and not Edward Howell, of Lynn, Massachusettes as previously assumed. Contact [email protected] if you have any questions.

Children of Isaac Howell and Rachel Bunn

Nathan Howell
Isaac Howell
Samuel Howell
Stephen I. Howell
Phebe (Howell) Ader married a 2nd time but surname unknown
Sarah (Howell) Pickle
Anna (Howell) Blane
Mary (Howell) Pace
Rachel (Howell) Pace
Julia Howell - don't know at this time if she married

There is no proof that this couple had a son named Washington. In fact after looking at their will, deeds and other documents the case can be made that they never had a son named Washington. I only address this issue because I have seen a Washington Howell added to trees on ancestry which provide no documentation.

In addition the book Early Germans of New Jersey written in 1895 list all the children and never lists Washington as a child.

Samuel Howell and Julia Howell the children of Isaac Howell are "linked" to non-existent graves. I know for a fact that these individuals are not buried where alleged. The person who linked them has no proof. Samuel is buried in New York and Julia is not buried in the alleged location given. I know where both are buried and will add them at a later date.
