She was an active member of First Presbyterian Church including many years serving in the Ladys Circle. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Her hobbies included raising African violets and keeping tropical fish that won many ribbons at the State Fair. She graced those around her with her love of music and at 90+ years received a standing ovation at the Celebration of Women and their Music at the Fargo Theatre.
She is survived by her sons: James and Joseph Erickson; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Phillip.
The funeral service will be held on 1:00 P.M. Monday, Oct. 27, 2014 at the Mavis Whiting Chapel in Bethany. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Tower City, ND
