Source: The Thomas Minor Society Records for place of burial. He was probably named for Adoniram Judson, an early Baptist missionary. Only time that Adam was ever used as his first name was in the 1900 census [note: the census taker may have thought that Adam was easier to spell than Adoniram. :)] Many of the primary records enters his name as A.J. Zearley. He was the son of Jacob Abner Zearley and Caroline (Minor) Zearley. Married first to Susan E. Woodall and second to Ida Irene Geho.
