George W. Ream YORK George W. Ream, 76, died Wednesday, April 6, 2005, at his home. He was the companion of Linda Dehoff. Born on January 1, 1929, in York, son of the late Alvin and Jenny Mae (Hess) Ream, he retired from Frey's Upholstering as an upholsterer. He was an Army Air Corps veteran. There will be no viewing. The service and burial will be private. He is also survived by two sons, Luke Ream of Airville and Donald Ream of West York; two daughters, Christina Meek of York and Jennifer Hamm of Gettysburg; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Delaware Valley, 325 Chestnut St., Suite 725, Philadelphia, PA 19106; or to Compassionate Care Hospice, 127 W. Market St. Suite 115, York, PA 17401.
