LOGANSPORT, Ind. - Peter
Wagner, 80, Logansport R.R. 4,
died at 12:05 a.m. Monday, Feb.
24, 1992, in his home. He was born
July 23, 1911, in Logansport, a son
of Peter and Mary Gertrude
(Bergmann) Wagner.
May 2, 1939, in Logansport, he
married Frances L. Crowe, who
died April 7, 1962. Jan. 15, 1966, in
Monticello, he married Helen L.
Magee Holmes, who survives.
Wagner was a retired Cass
County farmer and dairyman and
had assisted his father in the
operation of Wagner Dairy. He
was a member of All Saints Catholic
Church and a 50-year member
of the Fraternal Order of Eagles
323.
Also surviving are four daughters,
Mary Catherine Bowman of
Logansport, Loretta Jane Beach
of Live Oak, Fla., Dianna L. Larson
of Buffalo Grove, 111., and
Beth Ann Adduci of Schaumburg,
111.; a stepson, David E. Holmes of
Logansport; a brother, Frank
Wagner of Logansport; two
sisters, Dorothy Tilton of
Logansport and Mary C. Tiley of
Greenwood; five grandchildren;
and three stepgrandchildren. A
son, four brothers and two sisters
preceded him in death.
Mass will be celebrated at 10
a.m. Thursday in All Saints Catholic
Church. The Rev. Donald
Gross will officiate. Interment will
be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7
to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Kroeger
Funeral Home where a scripture
service will be at 7 p.m. and an
Eagles service at 7:30 p.m
Memorial contributions may be
made to the American Cancer
Society, Cass County chapter.
