Bernice R . Allen Phillips , 66, of 1412 Spring St. died Wednesday at home after a long illness.
A native of LaFayette, Mrs. Phillips lived in Syracuse most of her life. She attended the former Jamesville High School.
Surviving are her husband, Edward; seven sons, Darrell, Howard, Edward, Bruce, Jessie and Carl, all of Syracuse, and Dennis of Solvay; four daughters, Grace Rowe, Edna Rowe and Jean Bartlett, all of Syracuse, and Bernadette Lewis of Solvay; a brother, Richard Allen of Jamesville; four sisters, Evelyn Day of Fabius, Beulah Beyor and Adella Burlington, both of Syracuse, and Leneilia Weaver of Jamesville; 20 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Hall Funeral Home, LaFayette, the Rev. Donald Moody officiating. Burial will be in LaFayette Rural Cemetery.
