" Together Again''
Vernice May (Green) Densmore, entered her eternal rest September 7, 2017, at the age of 90.
Vernice was born August 9, 1927, to Chester Arthur and Bernice (Young) Green.
Vernice was gracious, witty and humorous, spreading smiles wherever she went, especially to the residents at High Hope Care Center in Brenham, Texas, where she lived the last three and a half years of her life.
Vernice was a homemaker, mother, gardener, excellent seamstress, fine cook, avid reader and loved word puzzles. She served with her husband Gordon in the Methodist ministry, first as pastor's wife, then as a traveling representative for PastorCare.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, David (Tamara) Densmore of Wadsworth, Ohio; daughter and son-in-law, Robyn (Dean) Wall of Burton, Texas; grandchildren, David II (Dawn) Densmore, Timothy (Jenna) Densmore, Damian Wall, Gabriel (Judy) Wall and Janelle Lee; brothers-in-law, Robert (Beryl) Densmore and Donald (Karen) Densmore. Also surviving are 14 great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Vernice was preceded in death three years ago by her lifelong sweetheart, Pastor Gordon Densmore. We rejoice in their singing together again and enjoying sweet fellowship with their beloved Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, September 30 at 11 a.m. at Perry United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Jim Jensen, Jr.
Grave side ceremony will follow at the Perry Cemetery in Perry, Ohio.
