Margaret A Biggar, died in a Hospital at Eugene OR, age 92 years. Funeral from the Methodist Church, at Rathdrum, by the Rev. C.B.Madsen. Interred in Pine Grove Cemetery. Margaret was born in Huntingdon PQ on Sept. 13,1835. She was married to James Laird on December 09, 1852 and moved to Iowa where they lived for 23 years. In 1878 they move to Brookings County, Dakota territory, where they lived until 1903, and came to Rathdrum to reside. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary 25 years ago. Her husband died in 1907. Since then she has made her home with her children. Her husband and one daughter Mrs. Elizabeth Skinner preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons and two daughters. George Laird of Rathdrum, Mrs. Hannah Kelly of Sumner Washington, William B. Laird of Lewiston ID, and Miss Lillie Sage of Eugene OR, 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, one great great granddaughter and one sister Mrs. Mary Fisher of Cedar Falls IA.
