Funeral Services For P. L. Fleming Held Saturday

Funeral services for Paul L. Fleming were held Saturday, January 14. Burial was in the Silver Cross Cemetery with the Rev. William S. Spilman of Trinity Episcopal Church officiating.

Mr. Fleming was born in Vicksburg, February 26, 1887. He was educated at Tallulah and Ruston High Schools and attended Tulane in New Orleans.

He lived on Right Bower Plantation at Milliken Bend and Gulfport, Miss., for 22 years. After the death of his parents, the former Thomas L. and Mary Downes Fleming, at the age of three and a half years old, he was reared by Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Coltharp.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Anne Chilton Fleming; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Roy, Gulfport, Miss.; one sister, Mrs. Lelia Fleming Schneidau of St. John, Kansas; a niece, Mrs. Edward A. Heffner, and four great nephews, all of Ellsworth, Kansas.

Arrangements were under the direction of Young's Funeral Home of Tallulah.

Pallbearers were H. C. Sevier, Jr., A. H. Willett, Jr., Adrian Willett, Fred Peterkin, R. G. Waugh and Rufus Yerger.
