Alice Bromley Struhs, 73,wife of Henry F. Struhs of Salt Lake City, and former longtime resident of Green River, Wyoming, died at her home in Salt Lake City last Thursday, May 16th, of natural causes.
Burial was in Salt Lake City Cemetery.
Born, Aug. 20, 1888 to William Michael and Rosena Singleton Bromley, in American Fork, Utah. She Married Charles James Wright, Oct. 2, 1907. They were later divorced and she married Mr. Henry Struhs on Oct. 2, 1921. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Mrs. Struhs is well remembered by a large number of people in Green River, where the Struhs family lived for many years during Henry's employment with the railroad. They moved to Salt Lake City following his retirement.
At the time of her death, she was co-manager of the Progress Apartments in Salt Lake City and had been active in the North 13th LDS Ward in Salt Lake City.
Alice was survived by her husband Henry; her son Ralph B. Wright, of Twin Falls, Idaho; her daughter Mrs. Rose A. Law of Salt Lake City; her daughter Mrs. Ann E. Petersen of Green River; her daughter Mrs. Ruth Teichert of Chicago; her stepson Harry E. Struhs of Ogden; her stepson Wilford H. Struhs of Denver; 20 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Jennie B. Carter of Taylorsville, Utah.
