She was born on Tuesday, September 25, 1923 in Jena, Louisiana, to the union of Jess David Blackman Lodie Alice (McGuffee) Blackman.
Mrs. Winegeart was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Robert Bremer Winegeart; first husband F. L. McLeod; parents; older brother: J. D. & wife Juanita (King) Blackman; twin brother Bill & wife Billie (Pullig) Blackman; younger brother Elton "Buck" Blackman; Uncle Coy & Ida (King) McGuffee, Henry McGuffee, Uncle Ernest & Maggie Peyton McGuffee; and a great-grandson Andrew Edwards. Those left to love and miss her are two daughters, Cathy (McLeod) Young & husband Roger of Sterlington, La. and Robin (Winegeart) Edwards & husband Mickey of Jonesville, La; eight granddaughters Tanya Keeth of West Monroe, Renee (Keeth) Pender & husband, John of Monroe, Cheryl (Keeth) White & husband, Brent of Monroe, Penny (Young) Simmons & husband Keith of Fort Worth, TX, Missy (Young) Dafler & husband, Johnny of Houston, TX, Victoria Lynn (Edwards) Carlton & husband, Ronnie of Jena, Sarah Allison (Edwards) Fryoux & husband, David of Jonesville and Jennifer Ashley (Edwards) Oxley & husband, Steven of Jonesville; one grandson Drew Keeth of Jonesville; nineteen great-grandchildren; list of families, just as family Melba (McGuffee) Bradford, Shirley (McGuffee) Bartmess, and Slagle McGuffee
The family will receive friends from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 and on Thursday from 10:00AM until time of service at the First Baptist Church of Jonesville.
Services will be held Thursday October 23, 2014 at 2:00PM in the First Baptist Church of Jonesville with Rev. Gary Norris and Rev. Ralph Webber officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Springridge Cemetery of Aimwell under the directions of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.
