Temple Daily Telegram 4/28/1952--BELTON, April 27-Funeral services will be held at 3:30 pm Monday at Skinner Funeral Home, Rogers for Sam Bigham, prominent Central Texas Farmer, stockman and business man. Mr Connor of Waco, minister of the Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be L.P. Moore, P.H. Dorset, J.A. Dabney, D.K. Edwards and Floyd Skinner of Rogers and L.L. McMurtry of Temple. Honorary pallbearers will be close friends of the family.

Mr Bigham was born in Heidenheimer Jan 22, 1885 and had lived in Bell county all his life. He was engaged in extensive farming and ranching and was connected with the Dorset and Bigham garage in Rogers for many years.

Survivors include the widow; one son, Ed Bigham of Belton; two grandchildren, Sam Steffee of Rogers and Eddie Bigham of Belton; two sisters, Mrs Clarence Baugh and Mrs Lace Crow both of Rogers.

A daughter Mrs Harley "Blanche" Steffee died July 31, 1941.
